시편 14편
1. 어리석은 자는 그의 마음에 이르기를 하나님이 없다 하는도다 그들은 부패하고 그 행실이 가증하니 선을 행하는 자가 없도다
2. 여호와께서 하늘에서 인생을 굽어살피사 지각이 있어 하나님을 찾는 자가 있는가 보려 하신즉
3. 다 치우쳐 함께 더러운 자가 되고 선을 행하는 자가 없으니 하나도 없도다
4. 죄악을 행하는 자는 다 무지하냐 그들이 떡 먹듯이 내 백성을 먹으면서 여호와를 부르지 아니하는도다
5. 그러나 거기서 그들은 두려워하고 두려워하였으니 하나님이 의인의 세대에 계심이로다
6. 너희가 가난한 자의 계획을 부끄럽게 하나 오직 여호와는 그의 피난처가 되시도다
7. 이스라엘의 구원이 시온에서 나오기를 원하도다 여호와께서 그의 백성을 포로된 곳에서 돌이키실 때에 야곱이 즐거워하고 이스라엘이 기뻐하리로다
Psalm 14
For the director of music. Of David.
1 The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven
on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.
3 All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.
4 Do all these evildoers know nothing?
They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on the Lord.
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
for God is present in the company of the righteous.
6 You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,
but the Lord is their refuge.
7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

1. 어리석은 자는 그의 마음에 이르기를 하나님이 없다 하는도다 그들은 부패하고 그 행실이 가증하니 선을 행하는 자가 없도다
1 The fool says in his heart,
“There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
14편은 53편의 내용과 거의 같습니다. ‘이 시편에서 다윗은 ‘어리석은 자’에 대해 규명하고자합니다. 히브리어 [나발]에 해당하는 어리석은 자는 단지 지혜가 부족한것이 아닙니다.
1) 하나님을 전적으로 부인하고 의로운 자의 생명을 위협하고 자기 마음대로 하는 자. 2) 내면적으로 하나님과 언약의 관계에 있지 않은 자 입니다.
이들은 ‘하나님은 없다’하고 하나님을 두려워하지 않는 악인들을 말합니다. 그들의 심령은 부패하고 (창 6:12, 출 32:7, 렘 13:7) 영적 생명력이 전혀 없는 상태입니다. 그들의 행실은 하나님 보시기에 증오의 대상이 될만큼 타락한 상태입니다. 하나님과 함께하지 않는 인격에서 선함이 나올 수 없습니다.
Psalm 14 is almost identical to Psalm 53. In this Psalm, David wants to find out about the 'stupid'. The fool who corresponds to the Hebrew [Naval] is not just lacking in wisdom.
1) A person who completely denies God and threatens the life of the righteous and does as he pleases. 2) Internally, he is not in a covenant relationship with God.
They say, "There is no God" and evil people who are not afraid of God. Their spirits are corrupt (Genesis 6:12, Ex. 32:7, Jeremiah 13:7) and completely devoid of spiritual vitality. Their actions are corrupt enough to be an object of hatred in the eyes of God. Goodness cannot come from a personality that is not with God.

2 The Lord looks down from heaven
on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.
‘지각’(知覺)은 영적 지각을 말합니다. 이 지각이 있어야 인간은 하나님을 발견할수 있고 하나님의 뜻을 깨닫고 그에 따라 행할수 있습니다.
'Understand'(知覺) refers to spiritual perception. Only with this perception can humans discover God and realize God's will and act accordingly.
3. 다 치우쳐 함께 더러운 자가 되고 선을 행하는 자가 없으니 하나도 없도다
3 All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.
이 절은 하나님께서 인생을 살피고 내리시는 최종 판단을 말씀하신 것입니다. 인간의 입장에서 수단 방법을 가리지 않더라도, 부유하고 권세를 가진 자가 성공한 자로 보일수 있습니다. 그러나 하나님의 입장은 다릅니다. 하나님이 보시는 관점으로 세상을 살아갈때 참 성공에 이를 수 있습니다.
This temple is about God's final judgment on life. The rich and powerful can be seen as a successful man, even if they do not resort to any means from the human point of view. But God's position is different. When you live in the world from the perspective of God, you can reach true success.
4. 죄악을 행하는 자는 다 무지하냐 그들이 떡 먹듯이 내 백성을 먹으면서 여호와를 부르지 아니하는도다
4 Do all these evildoers know nothing?
They devour my people as though eating bread;
they never call on the Lord.
악인은 그들이 부패해서 하나님과 멀어졌으며, 진노의 대상이 된 사실에 대해 무지합니다. 그들은 가련한 자들을 괴롭히는 악행을 반복합니다. 그들은 하나님의 백성을 먹이로 생각하고 쉽게 악행을 저지릅니다.
The wicked are ignorant of the fact that they have become corrupt and separated from God, and have become objects of anger. They repeat the evil acts that afflict the poor. They think of God's people as food and do evil deeds easily.
5. 그러나 거기서 그들은 두려워하고 두려워하였으니 하나님이 의인의 세대에 계심이로다
5 But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
for God is present in the company of the righteous.
이 부분에서 시의 흐름이 갑자기 바뀝니다. 다윗은 환상을 보거나, 특별한 계시를 받았을 것 같습니다. 하나님께서 심판 하실 ‘거기서’ (그 시점이나, 그 장소 모두 해당되는 어휘입니다.) 악인들은 두려하고 또 두려워하는 것을 다윗은 발견합니다.
‘의인의 세대’는 하나님의 자녀들 전부를 말합니다. 하나님은 악인에게는 심판의 형벌을 내리시나 당신의 모든 백성, 의인의 세대에게는 자비로 대하시고 항상 함께 하십니다.
The flow of poetry suddenly changes at this point. David may have seen a vision, or received a special revelation. 'There' to be judged by God (at that point, or at that place, it's a corresponding vocabulary) David finds that the wicked are afraid and afraid.
The 'Generation of the Right' refers to all of God's children. God gives judgment to the wicked, but treats all your people and generations of righteous people with mercy and is always with them.
6. 너희가 가난한 자의 계획을 부끄럽게 하나 오직 여호와는 그의 피난처가 되시도다
6 You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,
but the Lord is their refuge.
‘가난한 자의 계획’은 악인의 핍박에서 자유를 얻고자 하는 의인의 의도나 계획을 말합니다. 악인들은 이런 의도도 처음부터 방해합니다. 그러나 하나님은 가난한 자의 피난처 되시고 그들을 자유롭게 하실것입니다.
The "plan of the poor" refers to the intention or plan of the righteous to obtain freedom from the persecution of the wicked. The bad guys get in the way of these intentions from the beginning. But God will be the refuge of the poor and set them free.
7. 이스라엘의 구원이 시온에서 나오기를 원하도다 여호와께서 그의 백성을 포로된 곳에서 돌이키실 때에 야곱이 즐거워하고 이스라엘이 기뻐하리로다
7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When the Lord restores his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!
‘시온’은 하나님의 언약궤가 있는 곳입니다. 하나님은 이스라엘을 구원하실 것입니다. ‘포로된 곳’은 바벨론 유수 같은 역사적 사건을 의미하지 않습니다. 하나님의 백성이 악인에게 억압당한 모든 상태를 말합니다. 다윗은 이런 포로의 상태에서 하나님께서 개입하셔서 자기 백성을 구원하실것을 확신합니다.
Zion is where God's covenant is located. God will save Israel. Captured' doesn't mean historical events like Babelon's runoff. It refers to all the states in which God's people were suppressed by the wicked. David is confident that God will intervene and save his people in this state of captivity.
